Mr. Rainer is Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and co-founder of Health Robotics.

Mr. Rainer has been in the field of Biomedical Engineering for over 20 years, contributing continuously to the technical progress of healthcare institutions as President of the Italian Association of Clinical Engineering (from 1994 to 2000), as active member of the Clinical Engineering Board of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation in the USA (since 1995), as head of the national project “Technology Assessment in Health Care” in Italy and as Contract Professor at the University of Trieste and at the Palestine Polytechnic University of Hebron. After graduating in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florence and earning his master degree in Clinical Engineering at Stonybrook University in New York, he was Director of the Clinical Engineering Department at Bolzano General Hospital for over 10 years, significantly contributing to the advanced technology status the hospital achieved during that time. In 2000, while already involved in the first R&D activities together with Mr. Giribona for the development of the first Oncology IV Robot (CytoCare), Mr. Rainer founded Biomedical Technology Consulting (BTC), a company providing consulting and functional planning services to public and private healthcare organizations in Europe. In 2006 Mr. Rainer founded Health Robotics together with Paolo Giribona, Fabio Fioravanti, and Giusy Martelli.

Mr. DeViedma is Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, General Counsel, and a member of Health Robotics’ Board of Directors.

Mr. DeViedma has been in the field of Medical Software and Technology for over 25 years, bringing innovative products to the healthcare market in North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific working for both American and European based corporations. After dual JD and M.Sc. Operations Research degrees at the University of Madrid, Spain and the University of Illinois, USA, Mr. DeViedma has been intimately involved either in the development, strategic planning, marketing, or operational roles with the first HL7 Engine and Clinical Data Repository (Oacis) in the world, the first Executive Information System (SMS), the first client-server Laboratory system (SMS), the world’s most successful Electronic Prescription System (Eclipsys), the first global roll-out of Pharmacy Automation (Cardinal Health’s Pyxis), and the first Oncology IV Robot (Health Robotics' CytoCare). Some of his most recent projects at Health Robotics involve the design, development and global deployment of i.v.STATION, i.v.SOFT, and TPNstation.

Mr. Fioravanti is Director of Software Development for Health Robotics, Managing Director of MEDarchiver, Chief Executive Officer of Generation Byte, and a member of Health Robotics' Board of Directors.

Mr. Fioravanti has been in the field of Healthcare Communication Systems and Technology for almost 20 years. While graduating from the University of Trieste and writing his PhD at the Politecnico of Milan, he was already working as a consultant for leading national and international companies in the area of healthcare telematics (HICT). Mr. Fioravanti’s contribution to the field of Healthcare Communication Systems and Technology has been outstanding, considering he has been Professor at the University of Trieste (from 1997 – 2003), an active member of the National Bioengineering Group conducting research activity in the area of HICT (from 1992-1998), Chief Technician at the Area Science Park of Trieste and involved in numerous research projects for the Italian Ministry of Healthcare and the European Community. Along with his research activity, Mr. Fioravanti published numerous scientific papers in national and international peer reviewed magazines. Since 2000 Mr. Fioravanti is CEO of Generation Byte and since 2001 he is President and CEO of MEDarchiver. Currently he is actively involved in the software development of i.v.STATION, i.v.SOFT and TPNstation.
