3L 3T Innovation AwardIn March 2009, Health Robotics was awarded the 3L 3T Innovation Award for the design and development of i.v.Station™ - its automated system for preparing sterile intravenous medications in a hospital environment. The system aims at improving reliability and reducing time and costs of preparing intravenous medications, in a sector, healthcare, with a substantial economic impact at national and international levels.

The award recognises the best technology products conceived or launched in 2008, the results of sometimes lengthy and complex research and development work, aimed at bringing tangible innovations to the market in order to improve professional and personal life. These results stem from the activity of companies and laboratories settled in AREA Science Park, and have either already entered international competition or are about to face the challenge of commercialisation.

PREMIO ITALIANO DELLA MECCATRONICA 2011In September 2011, Health Robotics was awarded the 5th Annual Club Meccatronica Award for its innovative research and development of technical solutions resulting in achieving the global leadership position within the robotics pharmacy sector, particularly with its original global deployment of a Cancer Therapy robot, followed by a 2nd generation of sterile compounding robots aimed to improve patient safety within Infusion Therapy.

The 5th Edition Club Meccatronica jury panel was composed of: Stefano Landi (Reggio Emilia Industrial President), Alberto Bombassei (Vice President of Industrial Relations, Confindustria), Luca De Biase (Nòva24 Editorial Director), Cesare Fantuzzi (University of Modena & Reggio Emilia Professor), Enzo Rullani (Venice International University Professor), Aimone Storchi (Club Meccatronica President), and Auro Palomba (Community President).

INDUSTRIEPREIS 2012The INDUSTRIEPREIS was created in 2006 by Huber Verlag für Neue Medien GmbH and it is awarded in 14 categories to companies for products of a high technological, economic, ecological or social value. Every year, an independent panel of 30 experts (including senior professors and specialized journalists) chooses the nominees and winners, evaluating more than 500 applications in 14 different categories (one which is Medical Devices).

2012 Medical Device Award recipients included Sarastro/APE (Controlled Release of Active Substances), Health Robotics’ i.v.STATION (Sterile Compounding Robot), and G-Tec (Brain-Computer Interface) Past Award recipients in the Medical Device category included such prominent companies as Gamro and Schwind.
